Vacation!

We are headed to Florida for a week. I hope to have new pictures to post soon after we get back. I ran out of time, and only got the beach quilt about halfway quilted, so it will have to stay home and get finished after the beach. Don't you just hate it when life gets in the way? What I've been working on

I've been working on this zig-zag quilt this week, and it's ready to be assembled finally! I used this tutorial from Amanda Jean, and it's going pretty quickly so far. I think I need to get some white batting for this one. I've been using Warm and Natural, but it seems like most of you use white batting when there is white sashing, so I guess the natural might show through? I hope to have this finished before we go to the beach in two weeks so that the baby can use it to play on the floor of the condo!

I've also been cutting for the robot quilt for my other son. I couldn't help but sew one block together last night. It's the Simple Modern Baby Quilt from Oh, Fransson. I think I'm really going to like it!
